Eckington School is organised into five houses:

• Artemis
• Athena
• Zeus
• Poseidon
• Apollo

These names were chosen as the result of a student vote.  Each house has a member of staff at its head, and a student house captain for each year group, whose job it is to promote and lead inter-house activities throughout the year.

House events have included robot wars, a paper aeroplane challenge, bouldering competition, an inter-house quiz, football and netball competitions, a photography challenge and a 'come dine with me' competition...to name but a few!
