We have five core values referred to as ‘The Eckington Way’, a set of five key values that will underpin our school culture. These values are not just words on a page but the foundation upon which we will build a safe and strong community.

Creating a safe and secure environment is our utmost priority. We want each student and staff member to feel protected, both physically and emotionally, allowing them to concentrate on their learning.

A calm school with calm corridors is central to keeping all young people safe at Eckington. We will expect everyone to conduct themselves around the building in a respectful manner.

Ambitious

At Eckington School, we believe in aiming high and expecting the best of everyone. Together, we will foster a spirit of ambition, encouraging every individual to set high goals and work diligently to achieve them.

Respect and empathy are at the centre of a safe community. We will cherish kindness and politeness as essential attributes, creating an inclusive and compassionate environment for everyone.
