How to apply to Eckington School
If you live in Derbyshire
The application deadline, by which you need to have applied for your child’s secondary school place, is 31 October.
Applications should be made via the Derbyshire County Council website at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/education/schools/school-places/apply-for-a-school-place.aspx.
You can also call them on 01629 533190 or email them at admissions.transport@derbyshire.gov.uk.
If you live in Sheffield
If you live in Sheffield and want to apply for a place at Eckington School, you can apply through Sheffield City Council's application process. In Sheffield, the deadline for online applications is midday on 14 October 2024, and for paper form applications is 31 October. Further details are available at www.sheffield.gov.uk/schools-childcare/apply-school-place.
Joining us in Years 8-11?
If you are hoping to join us in Years 8-11 or mid-way through a school year (a mid-year admission), applications should be made via the Derbyshire County Council website at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/education/schools/school-places/apply-for-a-school-place.aspx.
When a place has been confirmed at Eckington School, you will be asked to complete an online admission form. Please note that this is not an application form.
