Miss Robinson stated, "The players have shown not only excellent footballing ability, but also tremendous teamwork, resilience and respect across the competition. I am incredibly proud of them all! Special recognition should also be given to Ella and Amelie, the school’s Year 10 Junior Coaches, who have helped support the Y7 squad throughout their County Cup journey. Their leadership, enthusiasm and commitment have made a significant impact on the younger players, and they have been excellent role models both on and off the pitch."

To win the Derbyshire County Cup is a fantastic achievement and to do so with such an impressive performance in the final shows the talent, determination and togetherness of this group. They have represented Eckington School brilliantly and are wonderful role models for sport in our local community. I would also like to thank the parents, families, Miss Robinson and our junior coaches who have supported the team throughout this journey. This success is a real team effort and the girls should be extremely proud of what they have achieved.”
